How much they are going to be? How much do these run for on retail? Is there any well written reviews on these? What's the articulation? Can Superman real leap over buildings in a single bound?
I saw a joker this weekend for 60. I didn't pull the trigger. Mainly because I wanted batman as well which they didn't have. May have to pull the trigger on these.
After reading both, I'm not so sure I'm getting these, unless the price is right. They seem nice but to be honest I hate the Batman design for the game. I hate how his head looks to small and I always prefer Bats with the smaller ears. His neck seems to thick for his head which is why I haven't really picked up many of the Batman Arkham City figures. Joker on the other hand, I really dig design wise. It looks like Heath Ledger inspired their design and yet its still so fitting with the comic style. This is where i find the kai figure weak, I think his jaw/chin is too big. And it makes me hate it. I find both to "anime" for me. It doesn't completely match the art from the game ( At least when I'm looking at the trophies) or at least not enough to pull the high-cost-plug for them. Thanks once again Poe.
I don't really get the Joker head sculpt either – I have a load of Joker figures, but think the DC Direct AA figure really ranks along with the very best – it is certainly my favourite.
The nose and chin are a real turn off for the Kai for me.
The Batman looks very nice – I don't mind the pin head so much, and the upcoming Harley also looks quite nice, if you ignore the joints.
