Skeletor – new MOTUC pics

He-Man.org has posted new photos of the Masters of the Universe Classics Skeletor. I love that the vintage Skeletor in the last photo is all dusty–looks like most of my vintage figs.

My one concern about this figure: I hope the loincloth is flexible, so Skel can sit on a throne or in a vehicle. King Grayskull’s loincloth is made from very stiff plastic (hold the giggles, please).

  1. I think the Four Horsemen have achieved PERFECTION with Skeletor…

Yes I agree, they really have achived perfection with this line. I do hope the loincloth is flexible so I can pose him sitting down and put him in vehicles etc. Mattel and The Four Horsemen have really outdone themselves.

  3. Perfection? Really?

    I'm just not feeling them…

Well, clearly, one of us is wrong. We should determine who via empirical methods and then castigate and marginalize that person.

    …what? šŸ˜‰

  6. I read an article on TNI said that collectors aren't very happy with the line. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is the price.

I would love to be able to walk into a toy shop and pic these up. I am going to have to pay a good bit to get them shipped to Northern ireland. If only they were selling them at the original prices which over here was about £3 or £4 LOL.

    So… rock paper scissors, then?

I think this figure is cool. Loin cloth is a bit short…sort of fruity.

All in all I don't like the line. The vintage looks are ok but they all look like a bunch of Muscular Dwarfs. I grew up with these figures and like them but the Muscular Dwarf look was the style that fit the 80's. I think they should've gone vintage but did away with the elf on steroids look.
