Ghostbusters photos!

TNI has the hook-up with the first photos of Mattel’s Ghostbusters figures!

Initial thoughts: they look fantastic. The detail on the 6″ figures, especially the proton packs, is amazing. And that Slimer might actually be more film-accurate than NECA’s version…

    These look great!

Egon looks fantastic. I don't really want the 12 inch sideshow style figures, but the one they showed looked nice. I hope Venkman and Winston show before the end of the con!

I want to be that Egon figure.

Man, and I'd already worked out my toy budget for the year, too…

I hope DST shows the minimates they're doing. I don't have the room for six inch figures.

I really, really, really hope that DST does well with the minimates and they branch out and do alot of the ghost characters…

    Egon is AMAZING!!!!

Ray is… he reminds me of the DST/AA TWOK Kirk… Its pretty solid to Akroyd, but the discrepencies I'll just chalk up to him having a "hard to capture" face. Very curious on how the Murray likeness will turn out.

I honestly expected these to look more like the MM Scarecrow… slightly bulkier and with more wrinkles, but they still look AMAZING. I'm very curious if they'll be released under the "Movie Masters" brand to help build that some sort of "clout" or whathaveyou. It's too bad Mattel is beign selfish with these, I'd bet a good chunk of money that TRU would definitely carry this line

  6. Ray could use a tad more girth, but the figures look solid. We need to know pricing and accessories.

  7. Oh wow. I might have a harder time avoiding these than I thought. I need to see the movies again.

  8. Those do look really good, especially the 12" figures.

They look great, but even with the 4H doing the sculpts this property just doesn't thrill me enough to add yet another high-end/high-cost line to my already stretched budget. I just don't care enough. Sorry Mattel.
