Dead Man Walking
I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but these hold no interest for me. I don't find the designs very attractive and they have the look of something that might come in a Bionicle set. Also, not interest in Gylos at all. I do however had MAD respect for the way Spy Monkey has been able to grow its business and achieve the dream of being an actual player in the action figure work, so I wish them the best.
Dead Man Walking
*have MAD respect, that is.

to each their own, but i think these look like a blast… then again, i buy my kids craploads of hero factory stuff, so maybe my design aesthetic is tainted. 😉 either way, more for me.
that said, thanks for the link there poe, it's great to see the online community so galvanized to support a little operation like SMC… it's about time we take the helm of our own joy again away from the bigs and put in the hands of artisans who are actually part of the fan community they serve. just think, if the wind raider had been made by SMC, it would have had 702 glyos compatible parts, the shipping would been cheaper, and if you'd have had a problem, they've shipped replacement parts.

They had me until I saw they're only going to accept Paypal. I can understand not accepting personal checks, but there is no good reason to not accept a money order.
Caaarrrrlllll
very easy to forge money orders nowadays. Plus, in my experience, only 1 out of 5 people who say they'll send the MO actually do.
