  1. Great list there! I didn't even know about some of those!

I wouldn't have expected Savage He-Man to be #1. Even with customs floating around, he's not that rare to obtain nowadays.

  2. Thomas B

Can Mattel make JLU GL figs of Hal now considering the movie coming out?

  3. Dead Man Walking

Nice list. Fortunately, I can live w/o all of those figures, thought the Spirit of Gskull would be nice.

  4. I didn't know there were only 100 of the Hals made. I wonder what the production was on this year's Gray Ghost.

  5. Thomas B

    @Lemonjuice_McGee:

not sure but the difference is that GG will be mass produced with different packaging so fans can actually buy him thankfully.

  6. PrfktTear

@Thomas B: I will pick up a Gray Ghost if I find him, but even as a non-moc, non-JLU collector, I have to admit that the exclusive packaging is 50% of the appeal.

  7. @PrfktTear – Yeah, the G.G, packaging is very cool. The black and red color scheme would be well served for a regular Batman line.

I had that Turtles Pasta Shredder. Never even thought much of it; I just liked Super Shredder and liked him in black better than I did in purple. I probably sold it at a yard sale years ago when I was younger.

good list… though truthfully, those kinds of things don't hook me as a collector, that there's a limited number of something.

if the savage he-man never has been officially confirmed by either wonder bread or mattel that they're responsible, does that count as an actual exclusive? if he's a bootleg or a knockoff or whatev, is that fair in the sense that the other entries are "legit"?

  10. Poe

@dayraven: That's a fair point, and one I wrestled with, but in the end I decided I was being too nitpicky about these lists. If I'd skipped Savage He-Man I would have had to explain why he wasn't there. Given that Mattel isn't able to definitely say he wasn't an exclusive, I felt reasonable in including him.

  11. Fallen Eldor

My brother picked up pepsi optimus prime at a yard sale for five bucks in 88. I think he still has it!

I'd have given "Wonder bread" He-man a lesser spot and given number designations to the items by known production numbers. Anit-Monitor at number five (I'm almost certain five, not eight where made…)

Bart at number 3 and so on. Rumor has it five spirit of Grayskulls are known to have produced by Mattel.

    So guess what…

I am currently at my parents house helping them clean out their crawlspaces (mostly grabbing some of my old stuff) and I found the Super Shreddar from the Chef Boyardee… Mint and complete!

So, if anyone wants to make an offer, I'm listening. *waits*
