i don't know… something's amiss with this guy… he looks a bit skinny or something.

as to the review: as far as i know, roboto's legs originally featured purely silver paint aps. the pinkish tone is a result of aging and the red plastic mingling with the silver paint. that's what the mattel guys got wrong as regards the 200x version. people simply looked at the ageing vintage figures and thought the silver-pinky legs to be the original colour scheme.

    i might be wrong, though.

Roboto was one of my favorite MOTU figures when I was a kid. This new version looks like a good update to the vintage figure. Honestly I'm glad that this 100% classic. IMO the X version was a complete miss-fire and is better forgotten.

Along with Carnivus and Buzz-Off he's on of my least anticipated figures. He looks good, I want him, I'm glad the gears work, but at the moment I'm just a little underwhelmed. I'm sure like every other figure in the line that will probably change once I have him in hand.

I think he really needed some 200x elements or something extra. I don't know.

Pixel Dan's video was as usual, a very nice preview of the figure. I am looking forward to some more reviews of the figure now.

Roboto looks neat, neck looks kinda thin.

Wouldn't the figure wih the first action feature in this line be Tri-Klops?
