If you haven’t entered Joes For Tots yet, you’re simply crazy. With all the great stuff from sponsors like Sideshow Collectibles (who donated a 12″ Cobra Commander), how could you not enter? Why don’t we check out some of the other cool stuff that Sideshow has to offer why we reflect on our sanity:
Don’t know what to get that nerd that has everything? Sideshow’s got a guide to try to help you out. I can give you a hint right now, though. Nothing from Bath and Body Works.
G.I. Joe 12″ Figures
We all know they’re giving away a 12″ Cobra Commander, but their other 12″ Joes are something to behold. I’m a big fan of a bunch of them, but sadly I’m too poor to be able to ever own one. Firefly is on pre-order and he looks fantastic, but I think when they bust out their upcoming female figures (particularly when they make a Baroness) is when we’ll see if they can make me bust out my credit card.
Star Wars 12″
My second favorite line by them is their Star Wars 12″ figures. I dig a lot of the figures and I really like the environment and accessories they make for them. The Han Solo in carbonite is awesome, though a bit pricey. At least it’s cheaper than getting a full scale one.
Need a life size bust of the T-700 from Terminator: Salvation? Who doesn’t!?
Forbidden Planet is one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time and it’s made even cooler by Robby the Robot’s presence. I think it would be super cool to have a 12″ version of the classic robot standing next to some 12″ Joes or Star Wars figures.
That’s just a few awesome things that Sideshow has to offer! Be sure to visit them and check out the rest of their collectibles.
…and be sure enter Joes for Tots.

I want the Sideshow TMNT statues so badly. So incredibly badly.
Paul, I sent an entry in yesterday but I didn't follow the rules and just forwarded the e-mail instead of changing the subject line. Should I resend it?

Sideshow makes beautiful pieces. Here at the office we got together to buy Steve one of the massive dinosaur statues and it's amazing.
G.I. Joe and Star Wars fans need to grab at least one of Sideshow's 12-inch action figures. The Cobra Trooper is a great choice.

Jester, as long as I got it, it's fine.
