NECA sends along this great hi-res photo of their new TMNT figures in action…man, I can’t wait for these.
NECA will also be selling a special boxed set (limited to 500) of the figures at the New York Comic Con next month.

Thats my big question, do I get them with the colored bandannas or the ones from the comics? I'm a fan of TMNT because of the cartoon, so the colored ones are what I am leaning towards, but on the other hand I like the style and look of the all red. What to do?! What to do!
I know someone who is going to the NY Comic Con next month… maybe I'll tag along! 😉

I doctored that photo with the colored bandannas (which the Bob-Fish did ages ago with other photos).
Unfortunately, as far as I know, NECA hasn't announced any plans to put them out with colored bandannas–and it's possible they don't have the rights to. Playmates may have those rights.

Ugh…I'll probably end up with a set of these…so many figures…
I'm also hoping that NECA makes figures of the turtle boys as they were drawn a few issues later. Eastman and Laird drew them a bit more bulked up, with broader shoulders further down the line.
